Mark your calendars! The long-awaited Walrus CD release party will be  
Saturday, Nov.18 at Wild Buffalo House of Music in Bellingham. This  
will be a *huge* life-changing event. You'll be telling your  
grandchildren about this one. Some of you may be telling your  
grandparents .... Whatever. Tell everyone. Shout it from the mountain  
top. But make sure you come!

OK, OK, so I'm a little over-excited. ... We have been working on  
this album, titled "Uncovered," for about 2 years, and we are all  
eager to show the world our work. There are 11 original songs on the  
CD, including 7 written by Joe Young, our lead guitarist, 2 by Jamie,  
and 2 by me. There will be discounts for members of this list as well  
as prizes and surprises. We will be sending more details in the next  
few weeks, including discount offers, so watch your email box.

In other news, Wild Buffalo had a last-minute cancellation for the  
featured act at the Wednesday Open Mic, so tonight (Wed. Oct.18) I  
will be that featured act. I will play at 9:30 for about an hour.  
(It's possible I won't be alone the whole time... :-)
